Oooh...I do love a good tea pot. I like little cheap ones that are decorative more than functional. lol

My salt n' pepper shaker collection is very cheap and on the gaudy side...but cute. I'll get some pics after I dust them off. ;)

I collect books. Unless the book sucks, I will keep it forever...and probably read it a couple more times. I also collect notations in these books and it interests me to see how my interpretations change over the years and kind of coincide with my life at that point. I am particularly in love with British and Victorian literature and the older, the better. I also collect literature, history, sociology, and psychology textbooks. Oh yeah, and dog books.

I also keep my journals. I have tons of composition notebooks filled with whatever random crap I felt like writing down. I like to look over them from time to time but don't like to share them.

Other than that I don't really collect much. I guess I "collect" dog equipment and collars and stuff but I don't think about it like i think about my books.

Does anyone remember those animal information pamphlet things that were put out by the World Wildlife Fun? I collected those as a kid. Oddly enough, I lost them in my parents divorce. :?

I used to have a bunch of old tools that were old gran dads. All sorts of stuff, some of which were his dads or grandfathers. There were tools, all of which were made in the US, that if we saw now, we would be wonderin where the cord is and how do you turn it on!

Unfortunately, after having sold our old place, I had to work out of town and couldnt get the shed cleaned out. While I was gone, the folks we sold it to were supposed to wait till I got back, but didnt, and took everything to the thrift store.

It was a collection, not one I was actively trying to collect though, and one I wont be adding to again.

I would have wanted to kill them to.

I spend hours going through old tools at flea markets, estate sales and yard sales.

There is the BEST flea market on 321 outside of Boone, NC.
I used to hunt there for cool stuff all the time when I lived there.

You know, just in case anyone ever happens by that way. :|

With the tea pots, the weirder the better. I had one that looked like a cottage until the ex. broke it. >(
