If there is a tight ball of muscle right *next to* his penis, the likely culprit is a pulled ligament. I was worried that Connor had blown out his implant so Michelle called out rehab vet and this is what she advised. You're going to need to use heat on his groin and massage the knot out.

Just keep it decent and avoid a happy ending.

Gross! And I think ILLEGAL in 49 states. :)

So far, he seems to get tired by evening and that is when he holds it up more. Considering yesterday was 14 days, I think he is doing great. Better than I remembered the other two doing at this point.

He is still doing great. He walks on his foot a lot (on leash). At night, when he is tired, will he hold it up a little.

My question is: When do I stop using the e-collar when I am not home? :|

He never licks the leg when I am around. The fur is growing back almost completely. The stitched area looks great.

I am gone for about 4 hours then come home to let them out and gone for another 4.

What to you think?

If the stitches are out the e collar can come off IMO

I am just thinking: LAB=LICKING=OBSESSIVE 8)

I will try him this weekend without it. Thanks, Mallika.

I agree with Mallika... there isn't anything more for him to lick since the incision should be healed and he shouldn't be still recovering from razor burn. Obviously you know your dog but I would imagine he shouldn't pick at it.
