I've not mentioned the trial on here much, because there's always so many other issues going on with our Members and their Doggies....So I've kept the majority of the info on Facebook...in order to keep the clutter on here.
But I thought those of you who don't have an account or who don't check it regularly, would want to know the updates of where we 'are' in accordance with the "process'.

I'm in Illinois as of right now----------will head down to the St. Charles Area later this afternoon to check in to a B&B my co-workers so kindly purchased for me.

Jury selection begins tomorrow but no one other than the jurors and legal parties are allowed in.

For the sake of clarification, I would like to say that she did not 'die before the second order could be enforced. The bastard MURDERED her.

Also, from what we have been told, the potential for 90 years is not a possibility, because they charges will run concurrent.

May justice be with you. For the most part I believe the justice system is stacked against the victim and in this case I sincerely hope they prove me wrong. I personally would prefer to see him get the death penalty.

Sending strong and supportive thoughts for you and your family during this time.. I hope the justice system doesn't fail Amanda, and ya'll can continue to keep her memory alive without the emotional roller coaster of this bastard, and his way overdue trial.
I used to think I was indecisive, but now I'm not so sure....

Sending lots of good thoughts. PLEASE keep us posted. Like Michelle said, if it's important to you, it is important to us and Amanda's story is very important! I really hope that the justice system does what needs to be done. :hug3:

The Weather is So Bad Here (and gonna get worse)...the Trial is Postponed til Wed.
I came over to Illinois yesterday, to stay with a Good Friend in Springfield.
Better than sitting alone in a B & B by myself (for what would have been 2 1/2 days.

Just wanted to keep you guys updated. :rolleyes2:
