I need some money so I'm looking around for things to sell. I haven't used this in a couple years and I won't use it again. It's essentially mint condition as it was only used a few times. I still have the original box to send it in, and I'm pretty sure the manual is still in it. I have to find which box the collar is stashed in since moving, but just so you know, I switched the shiny black plastic collar to a pink polka dotted, girly snap collar. I can change it back before sending it to you if you'd like. :)

Here's info, as well as a stock photo from Dogtra:
280NCP Platinum

(Low to medium power)
The 280NCP Platinum has all the desired features of our pro-line collars but at a lesser price.
This is a great choice for mild mannered dogs that do not require a high level of stimulation.

Features
Precise stimulation level (0-127)
Reduced receiver/collar designed for smaller dogs
1/2 mile range
'Nick', 'Constant' and non-stimulating pager
Rechargeable Ni-MH batteries
Fully waterproof collar/receiver and transmitter
LCD screen displays exact level of stimulation even in dark or low light conditions
Three bar battery life indicator

Honestly, if you're going to get an e-collar, this is a great one. Because it has 127 levels it has very minute changes from level to level, so you can really be precise about your dog's personal working level. Also, I always did love the LCD screen - many e-collars don't have that so they're not as exactly precise, level-wise. Because this has a vibrating feature, it could also be used for only that on deaf dogs to teach them a recall.

These retail for over $200. I'm asking $150, plus $10 shipping.

It'd look pretty on the Teeniest! Though I can't remember if it's still adjustable - I had to dismantle a regular collar to make it work with the e-collar. If it's not adjustable anymore, I'm sure Teeny's neck is bigger than Inara's.

I've toyed with the idea simply because of her insane crate screaming when I bring her to work . . . but at the same time the ONE time I used one on her (on super crazy low . . . like I tried it on myself and barely felt anything at all) I cried. Ahhhh inner turmoil. LOL!

Found it! Here are pics of my actual stuff. And the collar is adjustable if you like the girly pink. :) If not, you can see the original black plastic collar is still there.

Oh duh. I can't believe I missed that bit.
I'll get back to you on it, waiting to hear back on prices from a vendor.

You're right, pink just might be Cairo's color.

If Cairo doesn't end up with it, I'm interested. I'll pass on the polka dots though :)

Katrina, don't rub it in that I'm robbing myself! lol

I thought about asking more but I just want it off my hands.

And pocketpit (I'm so sorry, I don't know your name! ) it's yours if Allison doesn't want it. Though I'm telling you, the pink polka dots really add to it. I think nothing says "fear me" in protection work, like a biting dog wearing pink.

Allison, have you decided whether or not to buy this? If you're not going to, then I'm going to let Dawn buy it. Thanks!

Go ahead and sell it to Dawn. I've got a vendor I'm buying a few kennels from who thinks he can give me a deal on an ecollar.

Thanks.
