I may choke my cat

Everything that doesn't fit anywhere else!

And STRESS?? WHAT STRESS DOES A FREAKING CAT HAVE??????

Can the box go elsewhere in the room, not necessarily in the condo?

Yes, Cathleen, it could just be in his private room (where the cage is now). I got the cage because I inherited Bo when my Mom passed, and he never lived with dogs. He adapted very well to all of them and actually sleeps with Lenny.

I can put his new hooded litter box, filled with Attract Litter in a non-stressful spot in the spare room he uses, making sure he doesn't go outside and pick up any illnesses, after getting him Vet checked. :giggle: I think I covered all your ideas.

Interesting article about "texture preferences". I have always used the same clumping brand, but WHEN I get a chance to concentrate on this problem, I will try two different types, side by side. :)

And that may answer your question, Christine. I have been so involved in Truman (oh, and Harley has started puking again...) that Bo can poop anywhere he likes right now.

I had a cat that would not poop in the feline pine litter- she peed in the box but pooped outside of it. I knew that was what it was though because it was almost immediately after I changed to it. Cats can be so darn stubborn :rolleyes2: !!!

I have to go to Walmart today (but I won't wear my gold stretch pants and red stiletto heels.....) and I will pick up the hooded box. At this moment in my life, that seems like the easiest thing to try. :)

Yeah, I tried a newspaper litter for my cats, and they hated it. I also had "World's Best Cat Litter" for a while when I was doing a long-term board for two cats. All of the cats (including the boarding ones) ignored the WBCL for the cheap clay stuff...lol.

Just wanted to say, Bo, I had nothing to do with any of this madness concerning your box and privacy.
