I googled it, and I wouldn't worry about the contents of the tube as much as the tube itself... is he a chewer or a gulper? If he gulped down the whole thing without chewing it first I would worry about the tube getting logded in his throat if you make him vomit it back up...

I doubt there is much that would be harmful. With potentially sharp stuff, it can always be risky to induce vomiting, and have it cause damage on the way back up...
I can only please one person per day. Today is not your day, tomorrow doesn't look good either.

Agree..

I put the actual cream on my dogs for various reasons, which they have licked plenty of.. So outside of what little bit of the tube he ate, I personally wouldn't worry. If he were my dog I'd just keep an eye on him for the usual acting different, signs of stress, vomiting, constipation, etc... Was it one of the smaller plastic type tubes? They aren't very big, and the plastic is pretty thin & flexible :|
I used to think I was indecisive, but now I'm not so sure....

I bet it might work as a laxative/lubricant but other than that watch for lethargy, loss of appetite, vomiting/diarrhea. (although I'd expect diarrhea).

The ingredients in Neosporin are barely absorbed from the GI tract if at all. So the medication won't get into his system. If he chewed up a tube of ointment though, I wouldn't be surprised if he has a little bit of diarrhea from it.
