I can only please one person per day. Today is not your day, tomorrow doesn't look good either.

Thanks for asking. He is really no better. An "8' at best. I haven't let him run in the yard or play fight with Lenny. I will be calling Vet this weekend when Rimidyl is finished. :sad2:

Oh poop.

Come here so I can put some Forrest Gump leg braces on those back legs, there's a quick fixin'.

Did the vet get good diagnostic quality x-rays done on the hips/knees yet?

That is why we tried Rimadyl this time. He has often limped on his front leg and after a full set of leg xrays, blood panels, manipulations and whatever, a few years ago the Vet only found a 'lax-ness' (if that is a word) in the back knee he is now limping on.

Michelle, it is a constant limp, but if you didn't know him, you would think it was very, very mild. You might remember that Louie and Darlene both had 4 knees done, so I am very vigilant about limping dogs and watching every move they make.

Vet wasn't sure if he damaged it more to the point of surgery will be needed, so he did take blood work, 10 (?) days ago in case we are going with xrays now.

At 140 pounds, he literally THROWS himself on the ground, playing and as we all know turning too fast with that weight can tear the knees. Oiy.
