Well, I'm working part of the day then I have to go take my POST [written test] for a jail Deputy position, then tonight from 9pm-5am I'm going on a ridealong!

Tomorrow we'll go to dinner at Olive Garden with the whole family/friends.

Thanks for the b-day wishes :D

I can only please one person per day. Today is not your day, tomorrow doesn't look good either.

Thanks again for the bday wishes!

The ridealong was fun, i ended up getting to go with my friend's husband. The night was pretty boring/quiet but he answered a lot of my questions and was good to talk with. We did get to see a guy get pulled from a wreck and pulled over a couple of people (no tickets issued).

I also think I did pretty well on the test, getting to go to the next phase of the application process for a corrections position would be an awesome christmas gift!

Our NYPD has mounted officers. When I was growing up, our stable got one of their retired horses. You could literally set a bomb off under him and he would just turn and look at you. And so "proud" when we rode him...like he knew he was a cop and the other 4 legged things were just horses. :giggle:
