She's gone. Sofie went to work with me for the last time :cry:

It's very surreal and still hard for me to wrap my head around. I'm happy for the fact that at least since she came to work with me everyday she wasn't stressed. I don't think she really thought anything was abnormal. She fell asleep pretty quickly and quietly, when the dr came in he said she was a total trooper and didn't make a peep for her pre-injection. That's my girl. It was so hard saying goodbye, it's so weird not having her here.

It just sucks.

Thanks for the good thoughts everyone, it's hard to be totally stoic and strong... I've had 14 years to prepare for this day and it still took me by surprise.
