Gotty says "All is well with me in Texas"

Post your pics and vids here.

This is my Gotty, Kinzyl's brother. I had to rehome him last year which broke my heart.

I just want to thank Amanda again for finding Gotty the home which he deserved. If it wasn't for her none of this would have happened. :hug3:

He had a picnic in the park today with a lot of other dogs and their families. He got to meet Amanda's girl, Squishy. It was no love connection but I guess she was too sophisticated for him. He went for the more slutty type dripping with bling, bling.

Here are a few pictures that shows how happy he is. It has almost been a year and lately I have been thinking about him a lot. These photos put my mind at peace that he is happy in his new forever home.

Doesn't he look wonderful and happy????

A perfect Happy Ending because you followed your beliefs and did what was right for all three dogs. Good job Missy.

Gotty looks terrific! I know it was so difficult to make the decision to find him a new home, but this shows it was the best choice for him.

Now you should post photos of Kinzyl and Sammy and how they have bonded even more with just two dogs in your house, and no crate and rotate needed!

Thanks everyone. Erin, That is what I thought. Not that I am a stickler on a skinny, skinny dog but he doesn't look like he has missed to many meals. He is definitely happy.

Kinzyl and Sammy are do so well together. They are like two little kids playing all the time. We definitely have a routine down and they are some happy dogs. Kinzyl has made so much improvement over the past year. She loves when company comes over and has definitely come out of her shell.

I know that Gotty is happy being the only dog and getting all the attention. :)

LOL, I was surprised at how much smaller she really is than Gotty. He's got almost 25 lbs on her. I was also really surprised at how much bluer he is than Squish. She's much more gray. She's definitely more of a gamey build and goober is ... blocky lol. Here's a pic where you can see them both standing (they were really indifferent about each other, so once they were nice and tired, we let them sit together for pics for Missy, but for the most part they ignored each other. So really, there were very few pictures where you could actually see them together, not sprawled out and drooling.)

Also, (unfortunately) Gotty's crop is absolutely beautiful, and Squish's is... well. A hackjob. She's got jagged nubbins, and her right ear doesn't even have enough cartilage left to stand up. It rolls backwards.

BUT - yes. Gotty looks fantastic. He was so happy, and in case you couldn't tell, has his new Daddy wrapped around his little paw. He's got guilty eyes down to an art, so he doesn't miss very many treats. He managed to acquire himself a few hot dogs and chips yesterday too LOL.

He's spoiled rotten, gets to go with his dad to work sometimes, car rides ALL the time, and has a big honkin' fenced yard for squirrel chasin'. He just trotted right in and owned the place yesterday like he owned it, and just charmed the pants off everyone. Hahah, confidence is not a problem Gottyfoot deals with. He's really relaxed and mellow and just hangs out tail waggin'. He's a very . . . chill dog. He just seems like the world is his oyster, and he'll get to it when he gets to it lol.

I'm really happy the whole thing turned out so well. He and Wes are in love.
