Check this out:

Doesn't look like a pure pit to me...looks like there could be some lab in there...

Another county that's going to try to outlaw them, I'm sure....
And how did the police officer define aggressive?

it takes a hell of a lot to push a pit bull over the edge to turn on a person.

I couldn't see the dog (all I could see were eyes and a white marking and no facial definition) in the picture but for all we know they could have been Boer Boel's or Catahoulas or Ambulls, etc etc etc. People just have no idea how many different breeds there are out there that look very similar, not to mention how mixes can turn out looking like something they are not...

That's my point...

I think it was some mix (I don't think it was boerboel, though...I know them too well,a nd what they look like, etc...)

I would like to see what comes up from viewing the body..are they bite marks..or could someone have attacked him in his home and the dogs were defending him. If the dogs did "turn" it does make for a scary story.

Investigators said Raymond Tomco, 77, was home alone with his three pit bulls. When his daughter arrived home at about 1:30 p.m. and opened the door, she said the dogs ran outside. She said she noticed blood on the dogs' faces and went to check on her father.

She called her boyfriend's mother.

"You could hear screaming and yelling and crying in the background," said Jae Mackall, a family friend. "She was telling me that the dogs were killing her dad."

ok, now , the daughter comes home, opens the door, the dogs run outside, she goes in, and her father is deceased.. so how can the daughter say the dogs were killing her dad if they ran outside when she opened the door???

something is VERY fishy here... the whole story is fishy...

AND...why did she call her boyfriend's mother? I don't know...I think there are other people I'd call first...

Yeah, a lot of what's written there does not add up...

But unfortunately, all most people here is "blah blah PIT BULL ATTACK blah blah blah..." and they concentrate on that.

The dogs were all older, too, it said from 8 to 12 years old. And the owner had numerous citations for letting them run loose.

There has to be more to this story!
