Ohio. how bad is it?

This is where to talk about Pit Bulls!

i am, after 3 years of RVing, finally facing a trip through an area i'm worried about. i can route around it if i have to, but it would be alot of extra time, and gas money (which is in short supply at the moment). i am headed to Kansas for a winter job, and am facing possibly driving through the state of Ohio. are there laws that allow for them to take Luna from us? i have a muzzle if that's all that's required if we have to stop for gas or a piddle break, but i'm scared that she could be taken from us like the horrible law in Denver.

can anyone shed some light on the situation for me?

It depends on where you go in Ohio. My bff lives in Cleveland, and several of her friends have pit bulls and don't ever have a problem.

A quick google search found this, I hope it's helpful! http://www.dogsbite.org/legislating-dogs-ohio.htm

I live in Ohio (Cleveland) and you'll be fine just driving through. It's not nearly as draconian as Denver is. Just keep your dogs leashed and under control and you'll be fine. :)
