As I have posted before, Degan and Harlow have recently become friends with Rockford, the boxer who belongs to our really good friends... Here's a few pictures from the past week or so.

Haha, well he isn't really black. Sometimes he looks like it. But I think he is seal. More of a brownish, blueish, reddish, haha.

Rockford is a big boy compare to the others! Nice looking bunch! They all look VERY interested in what is going on outside.

Rockford is interesting looking. Is he a purebred? I love natural ears on any breed, but rarely have seen a Boxer with ears. Makes his head look bigger or wider.

Its funny you say that because I rarely come across cropped boxers. There are like six that live on our street and all have natural ears. Supposedly Rockford is purebred. I just think poorly bred. (I think he came from a BYB.) He is SOO buff for a boxer, and I did think he had an unusually large head... but when I googled boxer I came across a lot that look like him. Granted, he doesn't fit breed standard at all, but I like that he is bulkier than the average.

On the plus side, they are wanting to rescue a pit next. (My opposition to BYBs is rubbing off so I'm glad about that.)

Rockford looks like a HUGE Puggle in that first pic of him...lol

Thanks, guys. I'm quite partial to them myself. :dance:

Degan has gotten a little hefty this summer though. It has been SO hot that his activity has been much more limited than usual. We cut his food back a tiny bit...and once it starts to cool off we will be able to be outside more.

It was 109 here yesterday... EW.
