Well that is what I wanted to name our new foster, but Heidi wouldn't let me :rolleyes2: Most of you saw the picture of her on Facebook but for those who haven't...

Jenn (Pitty Love) rescued her from a family who didn't want her and were keeping her chained up in the backyard without any shelter or water

Not quite sure about her breed or her name yet, but I'm almost 100% sure she is deaf. Kayden has finally stopped torturing Karma for a little while and has been glued to her since we brought her home yesterday. I can't remember a night that Kayden hasn't slept by my side in bed, but last night he slept curled up next to her on the dog bed...

Oh, what a cutie! Too bad she's deaf but with those blue eyes.... Good for you taking her on - she will thrive in your care, no doubt!!! How are your hand signals?

Yea I said yesterday, half the time when I look at her I see Dogo, the other half I see Bull Terrier!

What, you kill me Matt.

The previous "owner" also wanted nothing from her but to breed her. He told his dad "if they kill her, then they kill her" when his dad said he was taking her to the pound.

You'd have to ask Earl, Kayden and Karma

I can reuse most of the basic obedience hand signals with her but have to incorporate some other signals for marking her behavior. We are using a thumbs up instead of a verbal marker and a small LED light for a clicker

I love her! In that first pic I see Great Dane in her head shape. Maybe she's a Dane/Bull Terrier mix. :giggle:

She's a beauty, Matt! Thanks for taking her in! And I love that name, LOL.

I see a lot of Dane in her, too, but those short legs coupled with her colouring and snout remind me of a bull terrier. I may have missed it, but how old is she?

When we got Tucker, he and Shorty immediately paired up and he watched her like a HAWK. Everything he's learned, he's learned from watching and imitating her. Tucker is not deaf, but I imagine What? would rely on her eyesight even more, and Kayden would probably be a VERY good teacher for her.

Cute! And nice pair of bat ears in the house, lol.

I see BT, but call me crazy... She also somewhat reminds me of a little Dane.
