Stuart Horse Trials

Anything that doesn't fit into the other three catagories

http://www.stuarthorsetrials.org/

I shot the Stuart Horse Trials for four days last week, and am in the process of editing the 11,000 pictures that I took. It's a frightening amount of work, but it's coming along...

I'll post some of my favorite shots over the next few days, but I just got some FANTASTIC news... my picture of the winner of the main event, the CIC** (the international level event), was selected for the home page and will be up for the entire year AND is being used for the post-event publicity.

Image

I'm so EXCITED!!!!

Here is the gallery link - http://www.stuarthorsetrials.org/gallery-2010 - mine are the ones labeled "Michelle's Event Photography" (obviously) but they are mixed in with everyone else's.

Thanks everyone... I'll post some pictures later on today. I spent 14 hours editing yesterday... out to the roof now! Never thought I'd look forward to a break from it! lol

Woohoo! I was there, volunteering in dressage warm up Friday. I'm usually a jump judge for cross country too, but not this year. Love that event! Fab photo! He was so nice to talk to

Holy crap... I'm done...

Narrowed it down to about 2,700 pictures. They are running through the image processor now, and will actually be uploaded tonight... I think I almost cried when I did the last one. lol

actually, that's not quite accurate, I almost cried when I was going through on a final check and ended up in a folder that was sorted wrong and thought I had another 700 images to edit. :rolleyes2:

That's awesome! I'm surprised you're done already, though I know you've been eating, sleeping and breathing pictures.

Well, if you'd like to view the gallery, here's the link:
http://www.imagequix.com/photog.php?id= ... &ec=Stuart Horse Trials

There is a link next to all of the pictures so you can mark your "favorite" pictures. If you are looking through them and see any that you particularly like, please mark them! I'm having a hard time narrowing down some to put on my website, and having some input will definitely help! I can view the ones people mark as favorites in the admin area.

Is that the right link? It asked for my photographer's ID.

Good job Michelle, these are really nice... If I had the luck to be one of those riders, I'd certainly buy prints.

In the XC Saturday, what is that beautiful (and humongously fat) paint draft with the red-shirted girl on him? First aid?
