We've been telling River that she's getting a new collar for the last few days, and every time we say it she just looks so excited. I never knew she was SUCH a collar horse! So, we decided to document the event (and play with my new fancy camera, so please excuse the blurry shots  ).

River, you're getting a new collar!

"Me, too?"

"Oh! Oh! They're here!"

"Already?"

"What's here?"

Those were River and Robin's actual faces when I said they were getting collars. That is a level of excitement usually reserved for car rides and squirrels. Guess I can add new accessories to that list.

lol

Isn't amazing? Whenever I pick up a collar that the dogs aren't wearing, they both come running almost as if they were saying, "It's about dang time you let me change my clothes"

In all fairness, we brought River home a year ago next Tuesday, and that is the collar I got from WalMart as a rush purchase when her foster mom called and said that I could take her home that night.

It was clearly about damn time.

Your babies' collars are beautiful (and so are your babies)! :heartbeat: :heartbeat: You did a fantastic job picking collars that look great on them.

Jacki makes awesome collars, I couldn't be more pleased with the one we ordered.

Thanks Angie!

And Jacki-- I'd like to know if they're washable, too... I won't be letting River go to the lake with hers, but she's pretty good at getting herself into all sorts of things without my help... Washable would be a bonus!

I actually took a closer look at her descriptions on her web site, she actual does state - they are washable (and scotch guarded!)

Thats right! Now that I'm using my brain I remember that's one of the reasons I bought her collars...I was looking at so many collar sites that week that I think the details blurred together. The Scotchguard will be a good thing.

Clearly it's time for the weekend.

Yes, they're machine washable. :) I do recommend toweling off excess water, then air drying, because it will help the colors stay brighter, longer. However, you can throw them in the dryer if you want!

I do include care instructions with all the orders. ;)
