I think you both need a new pharmacist. I am always more than happy to fill perscriptions for pets! But until they've see a dog on Viagra, they ain't seen nothing!! :swoon:

Viagra? Should I guess it is used for 'something else' than what humans use it for??

Yes, it is being used for its original purpose, which is not how humans use it. That discovery was an accidnet.

Harleybird is HANDSOME! I like the weight on him, makes him look all cozy and comfy to hug and squeeze, which is all I would do if I had him in arm's reach. His whitish face reminds me of J, except she's got a full mask going on...

And, GO FOR NO PUKEES!

Funny, Jenn. 8)

So, he is starting to balk at the I/D food, which I can't blame him. My Vet is on vacation for a few more days, so I have been COOKING...yes...I said COOKING....chicken breasts and he will nibble at that mushed in with the softened dry I/D. I have no luck with his picky eating habits. :sad2:

I bought a hamburger at McDonalds and he turned his nose up to that.

I tried canned cat food. He liked that for about 2 tablespoons.

What else can I try that is easy on the stomach???? I think he would eat straight chicken (not referring to a "gay chicken", of course 8) ) but that doesn't seem too nutritious for every meal.

boiled chicken and rice is the home-cooked version of "gastro" diets...

Okay, Mallika. Thanks. :wave2: I have them both, so I will try adding rice/chix to the I/D.

Just me. And he is attached to my hip. But I love it. :)

Dinner: He ate the moistened I/D (kibble) and chicken. Geez...now I am making meals.

You can also add canned tuna water to the I/D, if he likes it. Or any lean meat cooking juice is good, nothing greasy though, that's hard to digest.

Do you guys have Medi-Cal/Royal Canin Gastro diet in clinics in the US? Cause most dogs like it waayyy more than dry, yucky I/D or Purina EN.

I will try the tuna. I think he likes that. :rolleyes2:

I don't know about that other type of food you mentioned. Most Vets here suggest the I/D, so I don't really know if it is available. :|

Thanks, Cupcake!

I use baby food cereals...so I just have to add water and other liquids, but it doesn't have to be cooked...my guys love the texture. :)

Another go to for icky tummies around here is cooked oatmeal + pumpkin + a touch of honey or molasses...all mixed up together...with some chicken if they need more protein. They like the little bit of sweetness sometimes.
