My birthday present!!!

Postby madremissy » June 30th, 2010, 6:00 pm

As most of you know I am working on pre reqs to get into nursing school. Next quarter I start my CNA course in order to start working in the hospital as a Nursing Assistant. Travis has been working so hard to pay for this for me and I am so thankful for him. My parents have been very supportive also and wanted to get me something for my birthday that I could use for my career. I am so excited. It is Littmann Cardiology III stethoscope. It has large and small diaphragms for high and low frequency. I can use it on Adults and infants.
Travis wanted to take a picture to send to my mom. I thought I would share with you. I have never been so excited for my future.

Thanks everyone, I forgot to mention that it has my name engraved on the bell. I just have my name for now but later I can get my degree put behind my name.

Thanks Erin, I am really am happier than I have been in a long time. I never thought going back to school would be such a positive thing in my life.

I have had so many compliments on that little dress. I got it at Fred's for $7. I had to get it because the guy on the radio said that one of the things that women "over 40" should never wear again was "baby doll" dresses. So I had to get it out of spite.

Thanks my friend. :hug3: I have been playing with it all night. I can hear the dogs heartbeat and lung sounds (they are much better guinea pigs than Travis) It is much better than my 10$ cheapo from Walmart. :rolleyes2:

That's awesome!

And I think that it's great that you've decided what you want to do.

In the vet industry Littmans are considered very good quality. When I got my stethoscope, I wanted one :)

Great pic :)
I can only please one person per day. Today is not your day, tomorrow doesn't look good either.
