Friday we had half a day, staff only, and a luncheon. I spent my 3 hours outside with two ADORABLE Pit Bulls.
I saw them as I came to work on a very busy street. I have leashes, collars and water in my SUV for lost dogs.
As I opened my door, "Charlie Brown" (yes, I named him) jumped into my front seat!
"Sally" was nearby, but a bit nervous. A guy stopped to help me get her into my SUV.
I drove them to work, (and ironically, it was Take Your Dog To Work Day) and everyone thought they were mine. I kept them outside because I didn't know them. People brought us water.
I called the town shelter for a pickup, because the few houses I went to, did not recognize them.
I was SO happy they were neutered/spayed and were SO SWEET.
Today I will go to the town shelter to see if their owner showed up.
Ironically out of 50 people at work, only ONE knew that if you lost a dog, the TOWN SHELTER would be a good place to call!
