Hi, my name is Monica, I live in the Inland Empire area of SoCal. I've been a dog person for 8 years now. I have worked for and volunteered for my local shelter. I have 2 dogs, Faith and Allie. Faith is a shepherd mix turning 9-ish in a few months. She was already an adult when I adopted her. Allie is my crazy lab/great dane or pit mix. She's 2 1/2. I am interested in Pit Bulls because I worked with a lot of dogs with the shelter. I never worked in the kennels, but I met a lot of dogs. The pits were overall really nice. If there was a loose pittie while I was working, they would fall me around on my section until I took them in.

I found Pit Bull Talk from a search, I think. I've been lurking around for quite awhile.

I belong to these Pit Bull lists/forums the pitbull-listserve on google. I've been doing my homework. I'm betting my next dog will be a pit. And as it happens my Allie has some (errr. a lot) dog reactivity. So I've been getting some good tips.

Here are pictures of my dogs (I hope):

Sorry about the facebook link, but I don't do online photo sharing or anything.

I have also have a pet snake. She's a small rosy boa.

Ok, let me into the forum now!

Thanks guys! :) And close on the shepX but not quite. :) My Faith is one of a kind so far. Allie has a twin in my neighborhood. Same color, shape, attitude.... It's neat. He's just a little younger I think... We're talking like 2-3 months.
