I am so proud of my man-dog. He was just a little kennel-cough, scabby boy when we brought him home but we were instantly in love. He has enriched my life like I could have never imagined.

A bunch of you have pictures of your dogs with tires. Maybe Baku would like a tire also... Do you get them from a pet store, or are they "real" tires?

I think he is seal in color. He looks brown/blue/green/red depending on the light, day, and how much sun he has had. His head gets some brindle striping in the summer, and he has a dark stripe down the center of his back, and spots on his sides. (WHO KNOWS!)

Pet store tires aren't strong enough. The ones we use are from a pit bike, (50cc dirt bike) and they are PERFECT! They aren't too tough to hurt the dogs' teeth, but I am convinced they are indestructible. You can probably go to an off road motorcycle store and pick up an old one for cheap, or free. We just happened to have a few laying around the garage.

Lol, he's got a different color depending on his mood then, huh? That's cute!
When Patch was little, my husband swore up and down that Patch would turn into a brown dog. Here we are, two years later and I'm still waiting for it. I keep tellin' him he's crazy. I have noticed that on his back where his shoulder blades are... if the light hits it just right, you can see some brown/brindle in him. HOWEVER I don't admit that to my husband!
