And she's MY trainer! Ginger, the one who's helped me work wonders with Inara, has been pushing for us to compete in the new C-WAGS competition so we signed up to do one at the end of this month. Tonight she had a run-thru for anybody who wanted to practice. Fortunately just me and one other woman whose Golden is mellow as could be showed up. So we got to alternate practicing competition moves (and kicking ASS!!!) and relaxing around another dog.

Anyway, Ginger knows that if we have to run through a gauntlet of dogs to get into the building for the competition, Inara will fall apart and not be able to focus on me. So she is actually checking with the rule book as well as the people in charge of the C-WAGS program to see if Inara and I can come in through one of the windows in her office! They're big windows and low to the ground so it would be easy, but really, how many trainers are willing to let you climb through a window with your dog just to give you a fighting chance at competing? She's the best. lol

That's so cool, it sounds like your trainer totally has Inara's best interests in mind and that's just awesome. :)

lol I want a picture of us coming through the window as well! The trial is May 30th (EEK!) and I'm not sure if they need a photographer. My instructor's contact info is fortunatefido@yahoo.com - you could email her and ask. Be forewarned that she can be slow to respond to emails.
