Michelle emailed me saying he had been throwing up for 24 hours, acting pretty lethargic, and guzzling water. At the time she said she was taking him into the vet in the morning but I said be prepared to go to emergency because it sounded like a blockage and they go downhill fast. This evening while Michelle was away she had her dog walker go to check on him, and the dw spent an hour with Otis as he threw up every 15 minutes. Michelle went to pick him up and bring him in. I am going to go up there shortly to wait it out with her.
Otis Man is a sweet, sweet dog, please keep him in your thoughts that everything will be okay

The control top part had made it to his stomach and the rest was stretched throughout his intestines. Thankfully they were able to milk the rest all out into the stomach and didn't have to cut his intestines at all. So the good thoughts/prayers worked! He's out of surgery and doing well. They will try feeding him in about 12 hours.
