We use baby gates. Jazzy can be in the TV room behind a baby gate while the others are in the living room & dining room.

Crate & rotate isn't as bad as it seems once it becomes a routine. ;)

We have gating in all of the downstairs rooms. Unfortunately Kayden can and does jump all of them, so it isn't a safe option.

I think more than anything else it is just a transition trying to get all the dogs on a new schedule when you are in the house.

Unless you're an idiot like me...I keep forgetting which dogs can go out together...and I have to scoop Fig up at the last minute. :rolleyes2: I couldn't handle dogs that would fight...because I'm absent-minded...I'm really, really good for a while, then start forgetting.

Yeah-- my dogs could jump the gates, but since they don't KNOW they can, it's not a problem. Haha.
Kayden just must be smarter than my guys.
Shades thinks if he pushes his nose thorough the bars, he'll eventually be in the other room. It never works though. :crazy2:

We've been doing it for three years - it's habit, but it's still a pain in the butt, and I still feel bad. Every day. :|

But it's part of life with the three of them.

Yep, the more we stay on a schedule the easier it gets but there are still those days you hate putting someone away.

It's still much better than the alternative

I would use Demo's line when he gets in trouble but I assume he has probably run out of excuses. Sorry, no I didn't but I'll fire off a copy of the original tonight when I get home

Picture sent!!

Also a quick Manny update. Manny is going into "foster" with Greg (my best friend) and Manny's girlfriend Josie  No strings attached, but if things go well (which they will), hopefully Manny will have found himself a home. Funny how things come around. I fostered and placed Josie with Greg almost five years ago when she was just a pup.
