In that last picture you took, It looks like her spots are a dark brindle. I thought she was just black and white. Of course black and white dogs rock as well  , but that's pretty cool coloring she has!

Yep, she's actually brindle and white. :)

Angie, if she wasn't intent upon slaughtering my cat I'd be remotely more tempted to keep her. But I MISS being a one-dog household. I have great respect for those of you with more than one because I just don't enjoy it! And I'd send it to the calendar if my knee wasn't right in the middle of it. :giggle:

Shanna, that picture is misleading - this girl has a huge ol' noggin! She's no delicate little thing like Inara is! But yeah, she seems to be happy. Or it's stress panting. Or she overheats easily. This dog pants more than any other dog I've ever met!

And just so you guys know, in 2 weeks she will be going up to Rochester for LMM Jenn to take her into her rescue!!! Yay for Pitty Love Rescue!!!

I completely understand. My point really is just that it's obvious that Sophie is a real sweetheart and very lovable.

Yay to Jenn for taking Sophie!! I'm sure Pitty Love Rescue will find Sophie a fabulous forever home!

Liz....I so admire you for realizing that one dog is enough! I wear your shoes as well.....I'd love to have more than one,,,,,be able to foster an additional family member....It's not in my future at this time. I'm happy and relaxed with a one dog household.

Jenn,,,,Bless your heart! Great that you had room for one more...... :)

Miss Sophie is more than probably stressed (panting),,,lots going on for everyone. HUGE lifestyle change! These guys/gals can be so sensitive/insecure,,,especially coming from her horrific circumstances. I wish they could talk,,,and let us know how we can help....

She is such a beauty......
