Harlow hates me today...

Food, Fitness and how to keep them healthy.

Postby pitsnok » March 29th, 2010, 6:40 pm

She got a shower, her eyes and feet cleaned, her teeth brushed, AND she got to go to the vet for her one year shots and a follow-up to make sure her thyroid medicine is working.

Needless to say, it has been a rough day on the little turd.

On the plus side, her thyroid levels are at 2.9, she's heart worm negative, and hopefully we won't have to go back for a loooooonng time! (fingers crossed)

Great checkup, Harlow. And remember, clean dogs are happy dogs....oh maybe it's clean dogs mean happy humans :)

I think the clean dogs are happier. I just washed my dog last night too and now she is all soft and smells good, I can't stop kissing and petting her! All that lovin makes for a happier dog! :loveU:

She really does love being clean! After a bath she always gets the zoomies, and even after Degan has a bath (he was lucky enough to get one yesterday, too) she gets the zoomies. It's pretty hilarious, really.

Mine act like I am totally abusing them during a bath but afterwards zoomies set in. I know it makes them feel better.
