Anyway - I have long fingers, and I *think* I am touching "something" in the back of his throat... like a flap of skin almost??? Is that possible? I've never noticed it before (and I think I would have), so I'm inclined to make another vet appointment... when we went to get his cough checked out they didn't look down his throat, per say, just did a quick look-see while he yawned... and, of course, didn't see much of anything.
Could his tonsils be swollen and would I be able to feel that? Or what else could it be?
He's still doing a LOT of trying to "clear his throat", and today I noticed excessive pawing at his face. He's also very hesitant to eat, but seems to be hungry. He's drinking/going to the bathroom/acting normal otherwise, and he's not giving me a hard time about taking his meds.
I also thought if he has any swelling in his throat it should've went down by now, because he's been on the antibiotics for almost four days.
Made an appointment for tomorrow morning at 9:30, but any insight is appreciated.
9:30 (6:30 here) cannot get here soon enough!
