Does anyone have any tips on how to get the bulldog hair out of my car?
I took my crates out of the car for the first time in probably about 6 months and there was a freaking white furry explosion. So far I have tried a regular shop-vac and also a vehicle utility vacuum. Neither one made a noticeable dent in the hair that's in there.

Get a car without carpets? The sprinter is great...I just stand up and sweep it out with a broom.

I'd try a rubber curry comb/brush...that's what I've used to successfully get ground in hair out of fabrics...it'll take a while, but I've found it works well. Then when you're done, before putting the crates back in...lay down an old blanket or tarp under the crates to catch the hair next time. That's what I have to do in my Aztek, otherwise the carpet gets nasty...spills from water buckets, hair, treats that fall out of the crates, etc. My dogs are gross.

My dogs are nasty too. Tho Gator is the worst. He is too freaking smart and has realized that when he's in a wire crate that he can just lift his leg and pee out the side. Little snot has pissed in my car and on hotel walls on a few occasions.

Yeah, I have a blanket under my crates now...when I had my old dog, Elwood, I used a tarp because he'd have blow-out diarrhea on long car rides.

Maybe try one of those giant lint rollers made for carpets to get the hair out. I bought the scotch brite brand one from Walmart but it does not work as good as the one my friend got from Target. His picks more up and has a thicker roller so you do not have to tear the sticky paper off as often- plus the adhesive on the one he got from Target is better (I think his is made by Evercare). Below is the link of the one I think he has and they make refills that have 60 sheets instead of the 25 that it comes with. The blanket is a good idea- I don't have the pee issue and only have one dog, so a sheet works well for Ino in the car (unless he goes swimming), but I use a blanket for Ino's crate because he won't go in it if there is a real "dog bed" in it . I bought him one and he would not lay on it even out of the crate- he actually walked around it if it was in his way. He has a mini version of my bed set up in his crate and that makes him happy- he has my old twin blanket and his own pillow with a pillow case.

You could always shave them... nekkid dogs = no hair in the car.

Rubber gloves! It's time consuming but works sooooo well. I use gloves from work but even rubber dishwashing gloves work. Put them on and rub, rub, rub.
