This is where to talk about Pit Bulls!

Postby mnp13 » February 21st, 2010, 11:20 pm

A truck on the way home from a flyball tournament in Montreal, Canada was stolen this evening.

Two border collies, a Jack russel and a cattle dog were in it.

Unconfirmed (read on a thread on another forum), but apparently the dogs were found tied together and are at the SPCA now. Still no sign of the truck, but if the dogs are ok, that's all that matters! Fingers crossed that this is true!!!

YAY! According to the owner's twitter stream, the dogs were found tied up in a park near Montreal...all together, safe and sound. The truck is gone, but the dogs were turned into the SPCA and will soon (if not already) be reunited with the owner. SO GLAD there was a happy ending!

Yes, I'm sure, the SPCA picked them up and the owners will be picking them up. It was not exactly in Montreal but at Ile-des-soeurs, an upscale island right off the Montreal island... It's very weird, the truck was apparently parked in a Jack Astors parking lot, quite full at the time. A friend of mine is an Ontarian flyballer, confirmed the whole thing. Glad the dogs were found quickly, and safe. The truck is gone though.
