Leni gets spayed tomorrow

Food, Fitness and how to keep them healthy.

That's about it.

She just got a bath so she is nice and clean for her big day. I take her in the morning and pick her up Saturday. I'm a worried mama, hoping everything goes okay. I know it's routine for the vet, but you know how we worry about our babies. I hope she won't be mad at me for taking her there. :(

she won't be mad at you! And then you'll be her savior for taking her home :)
I can only please one person per day. Today is not your day, tomorrow doesn't look good either.

Vet just called, everything went fine! Dr. B also said Leni has been a very good girl all day.

Thanks everybody for all the good thoughts and comments!

The little princess is home, I picked her up this morning. She did not act herself when she got home. I don't know if it's the pain, the Rimadyl, or she's pissed off at me. When we got home, I fed her and put her in the crate to rest. I have been gone to my grandson's birthday party, but now that I'm home again I see she is acting much better. Maybe she was more mad at me for leaving her with strangers than for the surgery itself. Regardless, I don't think she is mad at me now. :D

She was never mad at you.
It's a combination of pain meds and "milking Moms guilt trip for all it's worth"... lol

She is not mad at you. Like Christine said, she is playing you for all it is worth. We are dealing with some smart little creatures. They know how to get everything they want with those eyes.
I am glad she is home and feeling better.
