Kato

Postby katiek0417 » February 5th, 2010, 7:16 pm

Dee, my heart goes out to you....

You and Kato showed us all the power of true love and devotion...you lived for each other...he fought the battle, but you were his support...his beacon of light...

May he RIP and run free at the Rainbow Bridge...

And, Dee, may each day bring you more peace and fewer tears.

We love you! :hug3:

Dear Dee,

My heartfelt sympathy in the loss of Kato. I was told earlier of his passing, and read this thread numerous times, but couldn't find the words. It just took my breath away.

I am going to celebrate Kato's life, his strength, and his beauty. He may not physically be here, but nothing can take him from my heart. He was very special to me, and I thank you for sharing him.

He will be missed.

Love,
Joyce

That was beautiful Christine, thank you.

Kato, I have known you almost as long as I have my own dogs ( longer than one of them ) and I love you as if you were my own. You will be with us forever, in every rainbow, in every stream of sunshine, in every breeze. You will live forever in our hearts. Thank you for loving my friend as much as she loved you.

Dee, there are no words to heal your pain, only love being sent across the miles. Kato will always have a special place in your heart and all of us that grew to know and love him.

Oh Dee, I am so sorry. I know how painful it was to make this decision and follow through with it. For me, knowing it was "the right thing to do" didn't give me much comfort in the beginning, but after some time passed, it did. For now, I hope you find comfort in your memories and in knowing that you gave him a great life. Kato was a very lucky boy to have found someone who loved him so much. And I know he loved you just as much.

He will always be a part of you in your heart, and he will live on through your memories. He is running like a pup now at the Bridge, with the wind in his ears and soft grasses under his paws. Probably finding peanut butter and bully sticks at every turn.

I am so, so sorry. :sad2:

Dee, I haven't posted to this until now because I just don't know what to say. CC said things very eloquently.
I wish I had been here from the beginning, but happy I could be here for you now. Kato truly has touched many lives and will continue to do so. He lives on in you and in all of us as well.
I am sending you loving, warm, healing thoughts.

Rest well brave warrior, repose in your solace. We fight for you now.

Dee, my heart is breaking for you. I don't really know you and I never met Kato but I've seen his photos and could feel your love for each other through your posts. I have no words that can ease your pain but know my thoughts are with you.

I'm so sorry for your loss. :groupHug:

I followed his thread in the canine cancer section and it seems like he was a great dog and was an inspiration to so many people. He'll live forever in our hearts.
