My Inara is a licker...it's a soothing thing for her, so for the most part I just let it go. She does it after she's been playing/exercising...so it's like her calm down stage.
She licks the couch, the pillows on the couch...and if she's on the bed, she'll lick pillows. Usually it's John's pillow, so it doesn't bother me so much...
. Last night I climbed into bed, and pulled the comforter up...she'd been licking it, and it was all wet.
Ick!
Unless I can hear it and it's quiet otherwise, I don't bother her...I just let her lick. She eventually falls asleep. And I figure she's not licking herself and causing medical problems...it could be much worse!
