What is this?

Doctor doesn't know. Hasn't seen before but she is on antibiotics and have to see if better by Friday. If not he will go in and laser the tissue off around it. It is red and has a hole and a little growth. Just came up in the past few days.

I think she just wanted out of the house and some attention from the Doctor and the staff. They love her. Every time she comes in lately they love on her more and she eats it up.

There has always been a red spot right in the fold of her ear but it has gotten bigger and more red. Then a little hole and a growth. I thought it was a tick when I first felt it but it is tissue of some sort.

That's very odd. There's no foreign body in there besides the growth :?

Nope, nothing. It has never had the white spot on it. I know it is not a very good picture and hard to tell but I did ask about testing the tissue if he had to remove it. He said it doesn't look like anything cancerous. I was just worried about it growing and having to crop her ears. I know stupid things run through my mind when I am worried about her. :crazy2:

Oh, I always think of the worst, then Dr Blabs slaps me in the head and tells me to knock it off, LOL.

It almost looks like she caught it on something and pulled up a tiny chunk of skin. Hopefully the antibiotics will take care of it!

That is what I thought at first but there is no scratch or anything. There is a tiny hole in the center of the red spot and then where you can see the white raised tissue is off to the side just a little. Hard to tell. Bad picture but the vet said he hasn't seen it. :|

Anyway, I am just hoping that the antibiotics make it go away. It does bother her because she is twitching that ear a lot. :(

I'm actually changing my vote to a spider bite - whenever I've been bitten by a spider it always has a hole in the center.

It looks the same tonight. I don't know what to think. Would a spider bite make the tissue grow around it? It is still sensitive to touch and she twitches it a lot. If not better by Friday back we go to the vet. Thanks for all the input.

I don't know. I think it would depend on the type of spider and her personal sensitivity to the bite.
