My wife and I rescued a 5 year old pit back in November. It was one of the most rewarding experiences in my life. I'm looking forward to hanging out here and learning even more about the breed. I'll try to post pics of our big baby later on. We actually think he is mixed with something else. You will see when I can post some pics.

Thanks for the welcome.

Our pit is named Mason. We didn't have a specific breed that we were looking for when we started looking at the humane league. Unfortunately the local humane league here has an abundance of pits that need adopted. We visited several and we decided that Mason (orginally named Ghost) would be the best fit. He is a big lazy baby. He actually sucks on a blanket all the time.

Want to know more? Been married for almost a year (Jan 31st) and we just bought our first house back in October. We had to wait to get a dog because our apartment only allowed a dog up to 25lbs. We like bigger dogs. :)
