My dog loves to do little hops.

This is where to talk about Pit Bulls!

Postby Xarpolis » January 4th, 2010, 11:25 pm

He can't really jump at all (even onto a couch... he climbs up slowly), but he's always doing these little bunny hops.

Here's a video from a few minutes ago. I think it's adorable, but I'm hoping that some day down the line he'll jump for real.

Awwww... the "puppy hop"... lol

My 10 months-old STILL does that. I don't think he realizes that his legs are long enough to jump on the bed. It's quite a production for him to climb up there, and it cracks me up every night. :giggle:

Be careful what you wish for... once they really know how to jump they'll take over every piece of furniture in your house.

Very cute. Definitely be careful what you wish for, Petey can jump from a lie down position to where we are eye to eye in the air. I'm 6' tall. I think his legs are spring loaded.

He can jump from a sit up onto a table with complete ease. There have been a couple of incidents at my office where he decided jumping up onto someone's desk was a good idea, which is hilarious in hindsight, but not always so much at the time.

I'm sure he'll end up with a bit more bounce in those legs as time passes.

Super cute!

I have Boxers so don't even talk to me about jumping dogs. :nono: I swear we should have named Patrick "Tigger" instead.
