Big Slurpies to Matt

Food, Fitness and how to keep them healthy.

Postby hugapitbull » December 18th, 2009, 10:59 am

I've had Trouble on the Liquid Health glucosamine for a few weeks. The change in her ability to move is amazing. She jumps and runs like a young dog, it has truly made a difference in her quality of life.

The only problem I see is that she wants to eat ALL the time, not good for a dog we need to keep the weight off of so her front leg won't be overstressed. :nono: I put it on her food, she gobbles down the kibble and then licks every last drop from her bowl. The bowl is sparkley clean when she's done!

For those who may not remember, this is the green grown glucosamine without shellfish and we have had no allergy symptoms from it at all. I couldn't be happier.

We get great recommendations here all the time, but this one is one of the best.

Glad to hear it has helped Trouble. I only know a few people who have tried the version without shellfish but most people have seen good results. I still have Earl and Kayden on the regular version.

Trouble sounds like Earl with her "eating disorder"

Got mine online at eVitamins. They had a discount when I ordered. We are amazed at the results, however, we may have to stop giving it to her, she's wearing us out. :| The demands (she is the queen, ya know) have about tripled.

Dammit! I'm going to have to visit our hippie store, LOL.

Do you know if any of their products are MSM-free? That gives Katy a tummy-ache and makes her pukey.

What products have you tried with MSM in them that gave her problems? I tried a few prior to liquid health that gave Earl problems as well

A bunch of different "human" ones, mainly from Costco (they have a GREAT selection -- who woulda guessed!). Once I tried the same formulas without the MSM, she was fine. I may try the Liquid Health -- if it doesn't work, you'll get the bottle, LOL.

I was just at Country Max this weekend and noticed they had a ton of liquid glucosamine products in the equine section. Not sure if they had MSM in them though but it might be worth checking out
