Some people are simply a waste...today man comes to shelter with pup (maybe 5 weeks - maybe) and tells us he picked up a litter in a box at a reststop in Eugene (about 2 hours south). Says he got rid of the rest and this female is the last. We redirect him to the oregon humane ... he tells us he lives in our County and we need to serve him...we finally give in tell him pay the owner surrender fee we will take her....his answer....then I'll dump her.

Sure enough about an hour later, guess what comes into the shelter found by a lady wandering in a local shopping mall parking lot.....you guessed it...same puppy. Oh and this guy has his 4-5 year old daughter with him.

I haven't named her but I'm thinking maybe Scooters revenge...she terriorizes Doogie like he terriorized Scoots.

OMG. I Love her. If we didn't have our hands full already, I'd have to have her.

I'm sure someone will snap her up in a heartbeat.

Is Farrah not being a good girl? Puppy likes to get up about 3 times a night to potty..how do you function without sleep? :D Violet already said she might be able to take her, so maybe I shouldn't tell but she may already be thinking she can sneak her in on you. :|

I'd like to go find that guy, though... :choke:

i'm thinking Katt was kidding..since we all know how completely in love with puppies she is...sort of like you and me...how is it I keep ending up with puppies.

Okay, she is a confident little bugger and has no problem telling Doogie when he is playing to rough. she is still so young, she "can't" just lay down and sleep. She still instinctively looks for the burrow, if she can't find Doogie or get him to stay still, she'll come and sit at my feet and grunt unhappily at me until I pick her up, wrap her in her blankie and let her burrow on my lap.

I keep looking and watching and thinking...4 weeks max.

Vi we are introducing the crate in little bits and pieces and of course, dealing with the temper fits that come with it, but she is still sleeping with me so she can burrow. :D :| So I'll send her up and she can sleep with one of the kids or you....k? Cause I've been up since 3:15 (she had to pee)

Okay the little terriorist has decided that annoying Magic is a great game! Attacking my feet and pant legs is even better....and throw rugs, well geez those are her personal best toys (especially the edges, which are now frayed).

So Carina...at the end of stray holding...you're ready right???

No firm name yet other than "Scooters revenge" which I'm thinking isn't a great name...unless you are Scooter watching Doogie deal with a puppy. :D

Whew two hours of shopping and OMG you'd of thought I had dismembered her by leaving her in the day crate...
