The Movie Thread

Grab some popcorn and watch a few flicks!

Tyson

Never really knew much about him outside of the ring but the documentary was actually pretty interesting. Definitely has a few screws loose, but the guy is actually kind of interesting

What a great movie! Had us on the edge of our seats for most of the movie!

"The Informant!" It was great! I know someone JUST LIKE HIM!! (And that is not a good thing....)

BUT you must know going in: LISTEN TO EVERYTHING HE SAYS or you will not "get" the theme of the movie.

I just watched The Orphan.

I would give it a 5 out of 10. The storyline was cool and I think it would have been cooler if they could have focused more on the psycho girl's story. It had some really fake murder scenes. I really just liked the story and think it could be a good movie if it was remade :p

I read the book several years ago. PUSH..an amazing story. I think it's one of those movies everyone should try and watch; just to glean some perspective on the worst of, and Best Of the Human Spirit...!!
it's getting RAVE comments....

Jen I am SO going to see Precious. Alone. At an afternoon weekday showing. I just know I'm going to be bawling.

I was going to read the book first but I've been told that it's really heavy and there are some abuse scenes described in the book that are very, VERY hard to take.

I want to see The Fourth Kind, has anyone else seen it?

Yeah, that's what I'll probably do, too.

Not yet, but I'll watch anything with Milla Jovovich -- I have a huge crush on her, LOL. :giggle: I'll probably wait for PPV or HBO. Movies at the theatre are too damn expensive.

Alien vs Predator is ALWAYS a great rainy-Saturday-afternoon flick. Although, FOX 5 edited the hell outta it and it kinda sucks. :rolleyes2: :lol3:

New Moon - holy effing crap it was awesome. I liked Twilight, but this completely blew Twilight out of the water. Fantastic. I got goosebumps, I got tears in my eyes, I wanted to cheer, it covered all the emotions!!!

Totally agree with you it was amazing!! I went at midnight on thursday night and the line was just sooo long. I'd say for a total of a mile of just people waiting to get in. New Moon was just 100X better then Twilight. Plus it stuck to the book pretty well. I loved it and can't wait to see it again. Even my boyfriend liked it and had a good laugh. Now to wait for Eclipse on June 30th WOOHOO
