We got very bad news about Vincenzo

Here is where we can discuss canine cancers and treatment options to create a support system for those dealing with the disease.

Well I'm glad that Vinny is in good spirits, I have to concur you are being such a good dog mommy and I'm so glad that he's feeling better. Hopefully the slides come back as nothing scary. Lots of good vibes coming your way!

We are hopeing all goes well....

Gosh it is so frustrating,,,,seems like at times you make it over one hurtle,,,only to have another one appear....
Sometimes we have to go through a little/alot of Hell before we go, or get to where we want/need to be...

In our prayers Vinny-bo-Binny!

Thanks for all the good thoughts being sent our way.

O.K. we have some good news. Lab results show only an infection, no cancer cells in that leg mess!! Vinny's leg is getting better too. It still looks icky, but I can definitely tell it is healing.

He has been very lethargic for a couple of days now. Dr. Blakeley said it's likely that Vin is having side effects from the antibiotics. They are making Vinny's stomach really upset and that's why he feels like dookey. So today we switched him to a different antibiotic, got him more anti-nausea meds, and a med to coat his stomach. Hopefully, these will do the trick.

Thanks again for all your support, we surely need it these days.

YAY! I'm so happy to hear that!!!!

I know antibiotics make my friends dog Mojo feel pretty icky. She's a food hound and she actually started refusing her food AND treats! Hopefully the new antibiotic doesn't make him feed so icky.

Thank you everyone. The meds did not help. Vinny has not been up on his feet or eating since Thursday. He cannot even hold his head up either. I'm taking him to All Pets at 1:30 today for the last time unless a miracle happens between now and then. My heart is shattered, but I must do this last thing for my beloved Vincenzo. Please pray us. I never knew I could love a dog this much.

Oh no...I'm so sorry Angie. I'm keeping everything crossed for a miracle. If that miracle doesn't occur, know that I'm thinking of you and Vinnie so much.
