My brother surprised me with a wonderful gift last week! He is a finish carpenter and cabinet maker, and is now branching out to custom-made furniture and accessories.

This mirror is heat-embossed, then hand-stained with several different colours, the last being a beautiful oxblood stain. From beginning to end, it's all handmade.

Outer measurements are 21 x 30 inches, inner measurements are 12 x 20.5 inches, and the mirror can be hung either horizontally or vertically.

If anyone is interested in ordering, please contact me and I can give you more details. You can also visit Accolade Furniture at http://www.accoladefurniture.com/index.html for more samples.

That is stunning!!! The corner pieces are the same circle things that are on my woodwork around my window frames. Can he do any kind of stain? My wood is all walnut or black.

Yup, any kind. His company actually does a lot of restoration work on older buildings of all time periods, so they spend a lot of time matching woodwork.

 I said that wrong. My woodwork around my windows and doorways is white but all my furniture is black or walnut. I am going to check out site now.
