How tight does it have to be?
A nice loose collar that can be used to hold tags...the Ruffwear Knot-a-Collar...Sawyer wears one so he's ready to go all the time (my guys don't wear collars at home). I don't think they sell them anymore...but I see them for sale from time to time. (they now have "Knot just a collar"...which is different)
The spiffy dog collar is nice because it's quick dry, in case that's a problem.

I just haven't found a pattern I like enough for Score. They're really, really soft and nice. Planet dog also makes hemp collars...and they have metal buckles.

I just scoured their site... I only found the plastic buckles.
Do you have a link???

Hi Christine,
We discontinued the metal buckle style about two years ago, and they now only come with the plastic buckle. We had a problem with some of the spring release mechanisms in the metal buckles and have found these to be more reliable.
