Dog Park Idea

This is where to talk about Pit Bulls!

You might want to reconsider talking about "she" as though "she" was not here. Like I said in the other thread, you ruffled a bunch of feathers within your first 24 hours here. Here's a thought: instead of responding sarcastically to angry comments, if you want to move on, DO SO.

Your memos dont really mean much around here, especially since you are still egging it on. 8)

Seriously, I won't take Dottie to a dog park for many reasons. And seriously some one with a "Pit Bull" style dog should take their dog to a park.

Training situations I can understand.
You can say any foolish thing to a dog, and the dog will give you a look that says, 'Wow, you're right! I never would've thought of that!'

Wow. I'm putting together that there is a significant difference between the interpretation of saying "park" versus saying "dog park." Someone mentioned that before I think, too. Yeah, I have been using the terms interchangeably... hence a LOT of the misunderstanding.

Park = cool. I go there a lot with her. General acceptance of decent place to go. On leash, etc.
Dog Park = unpopular. I go there under controlled circumstances from time to time. Everyone else thinks it's a bad idea. I will share my future experiences so that my execution and methods are no longer in question. (I know... reply: execution and methods don't matter, bad idea, etc... something's gonna happen.)

Thanks for the feedback!

Yeah, definitely a big difference between park and dog park. And I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to be able to rent the dog park for 30 minutes, for just me and my dog. I love when we can get there in crappy weather or odd hours and actually play because there's nobody there. I would pay for that opportunity.

Ditto. I would love to have Kinzyl just run and run without having to worry.

There are a couple of fully fences baseball fields around here, I don't use them often enough!

Michelle, I think we have a couple too, but I'm always leery of using them because they all say no animals. Also, technically Inara can't be outside without a muzzle, and she isn't even supposed to be on her 30 foot lead. State-wide BSL mandates chain leashes of no more than 6 feet. So I'm always afraid of a cop stopping and questioning me. Not all cops respect other LEO's badges.
