My wife and I were walking through a public, unfenced, park in Boston, Ma. When we wre surounded by unleashed dogs of all types and thier owners who were trying to be friendly, I guess. Now, we have a 2 yr. old blue AmStaff, and a 9.5 yr old .5 pit .5 rottie. They seemed oftly upset when we told them to stay away from our dogs. ( who were leagaly on thier leashes ) Now you know and we know that if anything happened the big bad "Pit Bulls" would be getting youthanized.

I actually had a friend who had a .5 pit .5 labrador, ( very homely dog ) he was an excellant pooch. So when the oppornuity came that I could get my .5 pit .5 rott I jumped. Sometime later I was babysitting a blue American Staffordshire pup for a friend ( rescue ) and he could no longer keep him so I did. They get along famously even though the older dog dumped me for my wife.

:lol3: I know what you mean -- our old girl, Katy, dumped me for my husband. That's okay, though, because my Indy doesn't even know my hubby exists!
