Dr. Phil on Wednesday

This is where to talk about Pit Bulls!

Postby pitbullmamaliz » September 15th, 2009, 5:59 pm

Tomorrow he's going to be in Philly talking about Vick, with a "panel of experts." I shudder to think who's on that panel (probably Nancy Grace :fork: ). But wanted to let you guys know in case you were interested in watching. I'm going to try to get home from work in time to catch it.

Kind of a whole lotta nuthin. No new opinions or info offered. :| Dr. Phil did say that he thinks Vick is lacking some serious moral character and that his lack of empathy is sign of a sociopathic personality (I'm paraphrasing), but since he hasn't had time to analyze Vick personally, he can't really say that Vick IS a sociopath. That's okay -- I'll say it! :D

He's going back to Philly on Friday, so maybe more then?

I hope my sister watches Dr. Phil today. She actually tried to argue with me on FB about how Vick deserves a second chance because EVERYONE deserves a second chance "and he is such a fantastic football player". I refused to let the FB postings become an argument and gave her a logical discussion based in facts, including the correlation between animal abuse and human abuse. When she realized she couldn't out smart me, she then proceeded to attack me and my love of my dogs on a personal level. All on FB for everyone to see. Needless to say, the biotch and I have not spoken since.

If Dr. Phil says on his show similar things to what I said on FB that makes me smile and gloat a little bit. :D Even if Dr. Phil's show offers no new opinions, if he offers accurate ones at least he is getting them to a very big audience!

Liz - thanks for the heads up. I'm gonna set my DVR at lunch time.

Better than I thought it would be. Like Jen said, not earth-shattering or anything, but it seemed as though Dr. Phil was more supportive of the anti-Vick side. The panel of experts was bizarre - thank god the NAACP was there to tell us we're racist for not supporting him. :rolleyes2: Overall though, I'm glad I watched it, I guess.
