FOUND now almost available

Postby Violet » April 24th, 2006, 7:16 pm

This pit bull has been running our neighborhood for a few days..several people had told me about her. But I never spotted her so I feigned ignorance and moved on...until today. There she was looking panicked and about to cross a four lane rod. so of course we pulled over and nabbed her. :squint: Now what to do with her....She is incredibly sweet..submissive to other dogs. about two years old. So far..no one is looking for her and she is not chipped. :( She will be available if her owners are not looking for her.
Updated***Kitten will be spayed next week and is available for adoption. Why is her name Kitten? because it suits her..she is the sweetest dog ever. She has shown zero signs of dog aggression knows sit and down and walks like an ANGEL on a leash. Is housebroken and crate trained. Shows intense interest in cats outside but has been inside and ignores the cats simply by me telling her no. Kitten has a soft gentle temperament and is submissive towards humans but not at all scared.
And she is beautiful

Kitten would do well in just about ANY home. She is so gentle she would even be good with small children. She would be a great dog for someone who loves the APBT but is not neccessarily ready for over the top drive or a first time owner.

She has the same markings as Kona, you're right. It's tough to tell the color quite, of her coat. Is it a "blue"? Kona seems smaller, too, this girl looks taller?
She's gorgeous...she sure found the right person!! lol

She is a seal..or sable. I think is what it's called? Not black but brown. But with black points. and she has almost merle like markings in her coat. And she is smaller than my Maggie..about the size of mookie.

That's what we called Kona too, seal. But its kinda sable, yes a brownish color that makes you almost think "brindle" but NOT quite, and black down her back...I've never seen that color but it's pretty.

sadly..no one is looking for her or so it seems. No response to my ads..no ads in the paper..no nothing. She was not listed as missing at the pound. No one seems to be looking for this adorable, very sweet girl. So..she is going to another foster home next week if no one has come forward by then and will be available for adoption.

Does the police department get involved with missing dogs in your area?

She is beautiful. She seems to be trained which is sad that either someone lost her or just let her go.
