Hi. I am joining this forum to learn more about PitBulls before I adopt one (which should be happening in the next few weeks.) Thanks for having a place with so much valuble info!

I meet someone through a work friend whose Pitbull is expecting a litter. I have been thinking about getting a dog for awhile now, and meeting her just happened at the right moment. I don't know much about raising anything really, and I have been hearing alot of negative things like "oh no, not a pitbull!', which quite frankly pisses me off... Anyway... I have alot to learn about raising a dog!

HI and welcome to the forum.

Take a peek at the threads on responsible breeders vs BYBs if you are thinking of getting a pup from a breeder.

There are also some great rescue dogs out there is you want to go that route.
