Grant did a special story hour featuring the theme of "Safety Around Dogs." We read May I Pet Your Dog?: The How-To Guide for Kids Meeting Dogs (and Dogs Meeting Kids) by Stephanie Calmenson. Afterwards, the kids colored pictures or bookmarks of Grant with safety tips on the back. There were 58 kids. Not a bad turn out!

Already got one message from a librarian at another library that wants to host the same program. Bad news? The town has BSL. Good news? Her husband is on the city council. Perhaps she will mention something to him.

you and Grant are amazing! :) Reading your progress makes me smile, it really is amazing what you have done.
I can only please one person per day. Today is not your day, tomorrow doesn't look good either.
