Hey everyone!

Got into Maumee, Ohio last night...er, this morning at 1, and headed back out about 7am (much to the dismay of the hooeys, as they wanted more snuggle sleepy time).

We are Mishawaka, Indiana right now. Coming up on South Bend, Indiana. So far, so good. We have practice at 8-10 tomorrow and then the first qualifying round for the finals is at 4pm. Then there are 2 more finals qualifiers Friday. The quarter and semi finals are Saturday (they narrow the 24 teams to 8, then 4, respectively).

Hope you are all doing well and are a bit more rested than we are, lol! ;)
We have a Mastiff... does that count??? :)

:wave2: Hey everyone,

We made it back home late Monday night/early Tuesday morning from the trek half way across the United States. :coffee:

We had an awesome time. :elephant: We met some teams that were from all over the country and even Canada. :canada: I was amazed at some of these teams, and we cheered so much I lost my voice. :helloClap: Colby had a blast! :dogRun: He didn't jump well, and Mom's throws were, well.... let's just say not as good as they could be! But ya know what? He was smiling from ear to ear the whole weekend and we had so much fun together, win, loose or draw. It was a once in a lifetime experience (we were in a paper and got interviewed for a local TV station that aired live... I was awful!!! :shake: ) and I am really glad we went. ( btw By the way, the dog that beat us in our discipline was an unbelievable dog named Henry :heartbeat: , who is an almost 8 YEAR OLD Chessie who ended up jumping over 26 feet!!!! He is a rescue, and I was just so happy that such a sad story became such an inspiration :hug3: ...he was truly outstanding. He is the same dog that was in the Domino's commercials a while back who was the dog that jumped 28 feet, if you happened to catch that commercial :wink3: )

Thank you for all your cheering and support! It means a lot to us!!! :groupHug:

I LOVE that you guys go to have fun, and don't put so much stake into "winning" every time. :D

I know... winning is great, too... but FUN is why the dogs love the sport, right?

I'm so glad everyone had a good time. :confetti:

That is so great! Glad you had a good time. I just set my DVR to record it  Not sure if it the one you were at, I just did a search for "dock dogs" :)
