Hey everyone,
We made it back home late Monday night/early Tuesday morning from the trek half way across the United States.
We had an awesome time.
We met some teams that were from all over the country and even Canada.
I was amazed at some of these teams, and we cheered so much I lost my voice.
Colby had a blast!
He didn't jump well, and Mom's throws were, well.... let's just say not as good as they could be!
But ya know what? He was smiling from ear to ear the whole weekend and we had so much fun together, win, loose or draw.
It was a once in a lifetime experience (we were in a paper and got interviewed for a local TV station that aired live... I was awful!!!
) and I am really glad we went.
(
By the way, the dog that beat us in our discipline was an unbelievable dog named Henry
, who is an
almost 8 YEAR OLD Chessie who ended up jumping over 26 feet!!!!
He is a rescue, and I was just so happy that such a sad story became such an inspiration
...he was truly outstanding. He is the same dog that was in the Domino's commercials a while back who was the dog that jumped 28 feet, if you happened to catch that commercial
)
Thank you for all your cheering and support! It means a lot to us!!!
