haha, ohhhh no. We're getting more attached the longer they're here, and no matter how cute they are, they're all going back. Josh was joking around saying he was going to keep a puppy and send Dora to Katrina.

No, I dont have that pup anymore. He had parvo. I have a 9 month old malinois now, so we certainly dont need anymore puppies in this house!

Yes...this is Jue...he looks a bit like a shepherd in some of these pics...but he's actually a very rare-colored malinois (pedigreed and everything)...you don't see many mals with his coloring!

And a fun little "swat" video we did a while back with flash bangs (and me handling him - he's Greg's dog):

Actually, the deal with Greg is that once he retired Jue, he'd let me show him one time...just as proof that he's not the big bad Jue that doesn't like anyone...it's to show that not only does he like someone else, but he'll even listen if he has to! So, I've actually been training with him to get him ready to show in September...

no, he didnt. there was a lot of issues, but long story short, he didnt make it

we have a puppy - a 65 pound puppy. Katrina's keeping my favorite puppy anyway, so at least we'll get to see him grow up (and kidnap him once he behaves  )

I am SO sorry to hear that... Faust just got over Parvo very recently, and it was touch-and-go for almost a week. My vet worked a miracle, I think. But, sometimes, even despite the best vet care... it's very sad. :sad2:
How long was he at the hospital? What did they do for him?
We have an epedemic of parvo-positive puppies on our local CL right now... very disheartening.

I didnt have him treated - he was pretty out of it and the vet said there was only a very slight chance he'd make it through the treatment. We discussed it and ultimately, it wasnt fair to him to go through the treatment, so he was put down. Glad to hear Faust is better!

Oh.

We got the same diagnosis... chances "slim to none". I heard "treatable" and "slim" (which IS something), and so I didn't even have to think about it. :)
What about the treatment isn't "fair" though??? Faust was on IV fluids and meds (also somewhat sedated, in case of pain)... so, I don't think he suffered MORE because of it??? :?
What does your vet know that mine doesn't?
