Pearl - Future Disc Dog?

Postby maberi » July 27th, 2009, 7:46 pm

Pearl is a 9-month-old pit mix being fostered in Rochester, NY. Pearl's previous owner was getting ready to turn Pearl into the Rochester city pound when Pearl's guardian angel decided she couldn't let the young pup be put down due to her breed. The Rochester pound's current policy is to put down any dog that resembles a pit bull no matter the age or temperament.

Pearl is a rambunctious young dog that is looking for an active home. Pearl would make a wonderful dog for anyone looking to get into dog sports. Even at her young age she has found a love for playing disc and would excel in toss and catch competitions.

Pearl is crate trained and is currently sharing the house with an older female pit, 2 children and a cat. Pearl has been through basic obedience classes and like any young dog she will need continued structure and training, but she already has a fantastic foundation.

If you are interested in meeting Pearl or have any questions about her, please contact me for her rescues information

She is about 45 lbs right now and definitely looks like she has some Lab in her

Not sure if she has been in the water or not. I met her this weekend. Super sweet dog and would play disc all day long.
